Hi, I’m Laila, a sophomore at Northwestern University, Illinois studying Journalism, with a certificate in Integrated Marketing Communications. Originally from London, United Kingdom, I work across content creation, marketing, and visual storytelling.

I am proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro, as well as Canva design tools and social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok. My portfolio spans photography, videography, digital campaigns, and brand storytelling.

I am particularly interested in how visual media and strategic communications shape public narratives, strengthen communities, and elevate underrepresented voices.

I have led public relations campaigns, managed event promotion strategies, and produced visual content across both UK and US creative spaces. I was shortlisted for the UK Digital Culture Awards for my work with National Youth Theatre GB.
